La mayor\u00eda de los linfocitos se encuentran en los \u00f3rganos linfoides, como los linfonodos, el timo, el bazo y la m\u00e9dula \u00f3sea. Solo una peque\u00f1a proporci\u00f3n de linfocitos circula en la sangre perif\u00e9rica, y la mayor\u00eda de estos provienen de los linfonodos. El n\u00facleo est\u00e1 rodeado por una capa de citoplasma bas\u00f3filo.
